Seafood Finally....

Craving for seafood since the last trip to KL.... can't get enough of the spicy chilli crabby gravy with fried mau tou...! Yummy Yummy...!

So friday we went 小红楼 for the seafood spreed....

I was so angry with the School...! Yesterday during class, the administrator announced that our course will re-schedule to every Wed & Fri...

I won't be that angry if the school takes some effort to inform every students about the changes once they got this inform instead on the 1st lesson itself....! When they announced the change, everybody like goes, "HUH...!!!! *x#*@#....." and discussions go on and on and on....

The school should take some responsibilities in keeping us updated by means of calls or emails, but none was done....! The time table was being delayed over weeks, we only received the time table one week before course starts and this kinda last miniute information.... I hate it, i just hate...!

The real main reason is that i already have plans on Friday... This isn't the 1st time my plans were ruined... this made me feel that i am a lousy planner, whatever i planned will not work or there will be things coming up to spoiled the whole event...! Am i really a lousy planner or am i just that suay...!?!?!? Haix...

First Day of School

Oh no.... Today will be the 1st day of my course... Haven't been studying for so long, i wonder if i am still able to cope... My biggest challenge will be keeping myself awake during classes... wahahaha... For those who knows me, they should know in wherever place or whenever timing, i could easily fall asleep~

But no choice, have to get used to it...

Shedule for my course will be every Wed & Thurs and every 3 months, we will be having exam...!

Went show with my PiGGy, have not done so for a long long time.... We are suppose to watch the Thai show "Ghost Game" at GV Marina, however even through we reached 2 hrs in advance to buy the tickets, we are still left with the first 2 rows from the screen. We decided to give it a pass.... To us, catching which show is not so important, is the process and comfort. But since we were, we watched the next available show, "Snake on a Plane".

We weren't expecting much from the show cos base on the title, the story line is very much predicted. But it wasn't as bad as we thought.

I was outstationed to KL again. But this time the trip is much more fun than all the other previous ones...!
Reasons are :
1. We went during the Malaysia Mega Sale...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2. We went there for a mission, for our company Silver Award Dinner at Shangri-La (KL)...!!!!!!!
3. We are staying in KL city in a 5 star hotel.....!!!!!!!!

How can i not enjoy...?!?!?!

After that sumptous dinner the previous nite, it is another working day for us. That was the first time we take Malaysia public transport other than Taxi.

It took us about 1.5 hr to reach. Quite interesting to find our own way there...

Finally... Home sweet Home loh.... On our way to airport...

Big Breakfast....!

Last Sunday, 13/8/06, when to Serene Centre to buy Big Breakfast.

But was so disappointed... First, i found the meat patty was only cooked on one side, cos only one side is golden brown. So.. can u imagine, when the other side of the patty is still having the whitish look... Though still can be eaten, Give up on the patty, so proceed to eat my scrabble egg... Just when i was eating halfway, saw this small piece of egg shell... Totally lost my appetite already...

















This isn't the first ocaccion that i am so disappointed with that branch. Like... 2 week ago, was queueing up for breakfast again at the same branch, it was very near 11am, hoping that i were still able to get my Big Breakfast. However as expected, when it was my turn, all Big Breakfast had finished.

Counter :" Sorry, no more big breakfast."
Me :" Huh..err... no ways to make another one?"
Counter :" Err.. sorry, no..."
Me :"Hmm... ok... then can i have......etc"

So very reductantly, i ordered something else, while the counter gal was preparing my order, there was this lady at the next counter. This was what happened...

Lady customer :" 2 big breakfast"
Counter (turn arnd, check the availability and reply) :" Err...sorry, no more big breakfast."
Lady customer :" Its not evern 11am yet, but why no more big breakfast?"
Counter (turn to kitchen, ask again and reply) :"Err... Sorry mdm, no more. Would u like to have hotcake, etc instead?"
Branch Manager come into picture :"Yes Mdm, wat can i help?"
Lady customer :"It's not 11am yet, why no big breafast?"
Branch Manager :"Sorry Mdm, it's already 11am Macdonals' time, we dun make any more big breakfast, but how many big breakfast u like to have?"

Then branch manager turned arnd to kitchen and instructed the staff to make additional for that lady customer. This left the counter gal and me looking at each other, i sighed~

Went to catch Tokyo Drift last Fiday.












Many reviews and friends said that it isn't a very nice show, but we still insist to watch it. In my opinion, this show isn't as bad as many had said. The grahpics, CG, cars and characters makeover suit the movie very well, except for the storyline which is lousily plotted.

On the average, i will still give 2.5 stars out of 5.

A Distance Friend

Recently, I happened to browse throught a long lost friend's blog. She is my secondary schoolmate, she is known to me as an cheerful, easy-going and friendly gal. We are not very closed (err... i think i am never close to anyone), but we done projects together, went out before and chit chat alot. Then we lost contact after we went poly...

To my suprise, she suffers serious depression. She had went through so much. She is confused about her feelings, her thoughts, her goals and targets. I feel so sad for her, she is totally a changed person from my previous memory of her...! I am so afraid to show my concern for her, i dunno if this will further intricate her. As she mentioned in her blog "to others, their concern and take things slowly seems like a pressure to me, do not ask me to take things slowly and keep asking me how am i"

I really hope that she can get well soon, i have had been through depression before too, i can totally understand how she feels.

To my dear friend,
You are strong gal...! You will success in whatever you do..! Though i am far away giving you all my support, i strongly believe you can get well de...! All the best my dear friend...!

Went to pay my course fee.... Now i am super broke....!

Finally, i going further studies after almost 6 years of delay...

But i was so angry with the administration guy..! What i was told over the phone is different when i was there to make payment. This is usually their strategy they use. Really hate it, bit no choice. Compared to others, they offer the shortest time to complete a degree course.

Totally no mood to continue with my shopping spree, it is like a big piece of fresh cut and the wound is left dripping with blood...

So as i was walking along Orchard Road, saw many were carrying stalks of Sunflower. Then came across this lady from M1 giving away these Sunflower. The 1st conclusion that struck me was, M1 must be really rich...?!?!?!

In any case, i won't know how many person actually will walk into M1 to sign up a plan or purchase a phone after receiving that Sunflower, definitely i won't. But i also took 1.. heehee... Typical Singaporean mah...

Sunday is usually lazy, time was spent either on sleeping or eating... So without any correction, we ate alot again. Had a super late lunch that day and because need to go over to the shop, we 顺便tao pao our dinner.

Pirates of the Caribbean : Dead Man Chest
I had watched the 1st story of the Pirates of the Caribbean : Tale of the Black Pearl. In part 1, the actors are charming, the graphic or the CG was good, the story line wasn't boring. For these reasons above, how can i miss the part 2 "Dead Man Chest"...?!?!?!









Re-cycle
This is another show which i have been wanting to watch. Not becasue of the storyline or the CG, but the actress. Lee Sin-jie has never fail to act out the timid, suspicious and scary side of her role. Thou its a Chinese show, i won't mind paying a little for the weekday ticket.

Now and Forever
Again, its the cast that attracts me. I just love to watch Choi Ji Woo. Her character in almost all her shows will be those very pathetic, cry-baby, yet stubborn type. That's wasn't the main point, perhaps i just like her look.

In this movie, again she is down with a terminal disease. But while escaping from the boring hospital treatment, she met with the male lead. The rest no need to say already, should be more or less expected liao ba...

Lazy Weekend

Yeah...! I did manage to go shopping last weekend... but i went out only @ 5pm, end up not enough time to complete all my destinations....

Actually i hate shopping on weekend, it is frustrating enough when there are tons & tons of people, but the worst part is when all the sale items look like junks...

So happened that i by passed Mango that day, they are having up to 70% Sale...! Eyeing on the offers, i also went in to take a look. The T-shirts are for $9~$13 only, Blouse are like $24 only, Jeans are for $37, super good offer loh...! But everything is like everywhere, can you imagine how messy will the clothes be..?!?!? Out in the mess you won't know how many colours are available and definitely all the sizes you want won't appear. And when you are able to find the ideal piece, they are either damanged, torn or dirty. How sad...

After a few hours of shopping, i cannot allow myself to go back empty handed. I managed to grab a pretty cute T-shirt in Wisma Isetan.
















This pink t-shirt cost me only $13 and the quality is good.

Sunday was my Grandma 1 year death anniversary. My relatives had arranged a ritual for her which includes prayers, burn big house, car, maids and the normal offerings. My ah ma was a very lucky woman, she was a great grandmother by her ripe age. All her children, grand children and great grand children attended the ritual without fail. We were dressed in different coloured uniform according to the hierarchy ranking.

I do not remember how many times we have kneeled or wallked round the tablet, but hat touches me is that everybody ( includes teenagers, uncles, anties, younger adults and kids) is doing it without compliants, wheather sincerely anot i won't bothered, its the respect that counts...

The whole event started @ 9am and ends only at about 3pm. That was a tiring day for me...

Plans for weekend

GSS has started so far, but i haven't done any shopping yet... :(

So this Saturday, i promise myself for a looty. Must shop all the way from Orchard Road to Bugis then to Suntec, Marina Square..! Wahahaha...

This is the 人民广场. There is a big fountian in the center of the parade, surrounded by high rise buildings. Generally, there is nothing much abt this place, but u can see many locals will just sit around or bring kids there to FLY KITE..?!?!?!

Nanjing Road - A street of shopping centers. The main street is passengers only, no cars are allowed, but on the vertical direction, traffic is still as per normal...
