Yup... i am back from my Bangkok shopping trip.... and i know it has really been super long since my last update... ok, lets go post by post...

Thailand trip first....

We took Tiger Airline from the Budget Terminal, my first experience...! We touched down, stamped passport and out of the airport at abt 8.30am. Straight we head for our hotel, surprisingly, it only took us 30min to reach our destination by cabby.

We stayed in Samran Place, got to know this hotel from another friend's blog, sound good enough, so we tried.

On our 1st day, we roamed around Platinum Mall, Pratunam, MBK then to Patpong. Yah... that's alot of places... tiresome day...

First day lunch @ Platinum Mall Food Court
Thai style beef noodle

Platinum Mall is our 1st stop, that place is full fashion retail shops, the best thing is that you seldom find repeated store in the 5 storey high mall.

Advise: Plan at least 2 days slots just to patronise the mall, you won't be able to complete them all within a day. (This explains that why not many photo was taken, not enough time to shop...!!!)

Dedicated to Ms Bai if you are reading... Everywhere is Doraemon..! keke...

Found in Platinum Mall...!

Pratunum is a wholesale market more for retailers than shoppers like us... unless you could buy same design for minimum 3 pcs, if not just go there look see look see.

Dinner in MBK

At Patpong Night Bazaar

This is something like Singapore Pasar Malam, at the side of the night bazaar are fill with pubs and "pole dancers".

Day 2

We woke up super early to avoid the congestion in the Wkn Market at Chatuchak.

Breakfast Menu

Thou not buffet style, but the selections are good enough.

My westernise breakfast... they have hotdog wrap in sausage, eggs, breads and a glass of juice.

@ Weekend Market at Chatuchak

The market sells almost everything, from clothing, accessories, furniture, decorations, pets, to dry food even.

That place is really huge...! So many stalls, so many corners, so many lanes...! We were half beaten by noon, settled at the nearest stall for lunch.

After a few more hours of exploring, we left for Platinum Mall again for a thorough spree... Keke... but all the shops close arnd 9.30pm BK time, we still reluctant to leave by then...

Day 3

We had a lazy breakfast on the last day, and the last iternary would be BK Chinatown.

Chinatown

Drinking cool guava juice on a hot steaming day

My loot from the bk trip...

So reluctant to return back to the reality world of Singapore....

First of all, i must warn all of you this is a very post dated entry.... But i dun care what you think, i just want to document it.

Let me bring you back to 31 Dec 2007....

While everyone is doing their count down for 2008, you wanna know where we were and what we did...?

Keke... of cos prawning lah....!

Expert at work....

Me... snapping away while Piggy at work....

My Dear Dear agreed to take many many photos with me so that i could put them in my blog... So sweet of you my dear~

Wink*

Oh ya... Almost forget to mentioned that while we on our way back from the shop, we saw many tiny lights falling from the sky, but they were not those firework we saw during National Day... So Piggy drove towards the lighting area and suspecting that the lighting came from Vivo City as there were some parties going on in that area. As we drove nearer, it was just nice 12mn, it was in the West Coast area... and the lighting came from the multiples boat that howled at the river bank...! They were honing in celebration and shooting up what seems like fire crackers up the sky with a loud "PISSSSssss..." The dropping lighting are actually tiny fire balls.... It was shoot pretty high up, the flammable substance falls back when gravity pull and burnt out half way down....

Since this suppose to be a New Year Entry, and everybody is talking about New Year Resolution, i should set my too...

There it goes....

I promised to upload pictures of Kenny's Big Day... I really took effort to take as many photo as possible... There you go....

Firstly, we looked at the amount of investment we made in order to make it for the day.... 3 Shirt, 1 Pant and 1 Belt. And myself - a pair of white heels.... Not mentioning car wash....

My day started at 5.30am, bathe, dressed up, make up and out of the house at 6.00am.

Meet up with another of his brother to go together... Look at the time... Not joking wor...

Our blur but act smiling look...

Kenny giving away ang bao to the Brothers...

Getting our cars prepared.... Cutie White Ribbons

All gear up and ready to go...

When we about to leave Kenny's place, the sky is just starting to get bright.

Denote:
Dear, can you remember how long ago was it that we watched the sky turn bright? Keke...

It shined, it rained, and it shined again.

Our journey....

Another group photo....

See how many cars we got here...

Proceed to Kenny's house for buffet lunch and end of story for Piggy and me....

It is not end of day for both of us, we still got to visit a supplier to collect goods for the shop and tended the shop for the rest of the day... :( Tired~
