Mookata Fever

Recently mookata is the trend, everywhere you can see it, especially coffee shops. We were recommended to visit this one which is opened by a distance relative of a friend. Thus, we show our support and patronized their stall.

We ordered as a set ($32.80), It stated for 2-4 pax. When we were served, by the look of the serving, i was thinking to myself....

"Sure anot..?!?! Enough for up to 4 meh? So little...."

But surprisingly, it's really good for 3 or maybe 4, cos only 3 of us went, and the portion is just nice for *us (we went with mil whom eat super little and hubby, therefore i consider myself as big eater, i really eat a lot). We love the meat! The meat is tenderize and marinate to fragrance, and Oh Ya....the PRAWNs...! They are fresh and sweet, practically sweet..! Even the chilies, they have 3 different types for you to choose from, slightly sweet ones, sour and the normal chili padi type. 

They open till 11pm, it is convenient to us if we pop by from work, i mean our off work time is already 9.45 pm or 10pm liao... so from our work place zoom down is less that 10mins. Considering the pricing, i think it's very reasonable too. If you want to order ala carte, you may too... cos the portion for individual items are HUGE..!!! Seriously, their portions are larger than those i ever had! Imagine, a portion of meat cost $8-$12, usually mookata style they serve in those square-shape stackable plates which probably contains about....6-8pcs of meat or maybe half filled. But for 1345 Mookata, their plates are filled to the tip! We were all dumbfound! Perhaps because they are located in industrial area, price are more competitive and they are very willing to provide. To me, i would say it is value for money. 

In the same coffee shop, the drink stall do served Thai iced milk tea. Great to go with the hot and sizzling food! You have to try it out yourself to verify.

Met up with some friends for drinks after work at this newly found place by them. Nice place to chill and some small drinks especially for their 1 for 1 beer. They do served main courses but kitchen close pretty early like about 10pm, not to worry of having nothing to bite on after that, cos they still have finger food serve till late. For those whom wonder why am i promoting this place, please this is not a sponsored post, chance a upon this nice place so like to share with everyone.

Overdue FIL's Birthday Celebration & Mother's Day Celebration

Everyone schedules are so packed that we have been pushing the date back.... :(

But this long awaited treat to GOOD food is just what i need to cheer myself up, of cos in collaboration to the celebrations lah...! Have been hearing alot about TODAI and seen so much pictures people post about this place while doing research. Finally my chance is here!

The restaurant gives me a WOW feel once i set foot in it! It's so spacious, the food are neatly array in uniform blocks. It is so convenience and straight forward, with one look you probably can roughly remember what food is at which corner.

I did not include the picture from the cooked (hot) section... i think because it's not my area of interest that i totally ignore it!

My plates of servings...! Usually i will attack from the cold (raw) food then slowly turns to cooked food. I don't like to jump from cooked back to raw then cooked again. Maybe i 怕死 (afraid), worried that my stomach cannot take it and put all these delicacy to a waste by having diarrhea the next moment. I will hate myself for it! Waste $$$ money waste food!!!!!

First time there, but great experience! Food range are good, though a little heart pain with the bill, worth every penny for all the food i consumed!

I have been chasing after this for the passed few nights with minium sleep or no sleep! Practically no sleep! OMG...! This is so addictive...!

Black Man...?

Review

Darlie which is better known of as 黑人牙膏 when i was younger. Thou cannot understand then but remember Mum says that black man left better contrast with white teeth, maybe that's how it got its name. 黑人牙膏 really left a good old impression, cos till now i still remember it's name.

Not long ago, i requested a sample of the Darlie Expert Fresh Toothpaste (黑人专研清新牙膏）from Samplestore.com, more on samplestore on my next post.

Back to the toothpaste, Expert Fresh was said to be clinically proven to fight against bad breath for 12 hours! Aiya... another advertorial talk only... real or not? This might be the reaction for many, so do I! So here I'm to test and try it out myself!

I have sinus, so at times i tend to breath through my mouth especially when i am deep asleep without i myself even knowing. This result is halitosis (bad breath)!

I am in sale line, staying fresh and not having a bad breath is SO important to me! Of cause, other than the toothpaste there are other remedies such as:

1. Drinking a lot of water - on the cons side it means you will tend to pee a lot too.... this isn't great image for the Boss towards you wor...
2. Chew chewing gums or take mint candy - it's rude when you keep chewing in front of your customers/clients and moreover it's illegal now in Singapore. Not only that, it is just a temporarily measure.
3. Brushing/flossing/mouthwash after every meal - this is useful unless you took garlic or onions, because the stink will stay with you till the foods have passed out of your body... sound scary! 
4. See a dentist - would cause you a bit of money and likely tell you the above mentioned. lol

Opps...! Not to miss out the philosophies about toothbrushing too..!
Always note and stay aware of: 

1. Use the Right Toothbrush and Bristles
2. Brush Twice a day for at least 2 minutes
3. Do not brush too Hard or too Often
4. Brush Correctly
5. Change your Toothbrush every 3 or 4 months or sooner if bristles give way.

One week after using Darlie Expert Fresh

My breath is not stinky..!

After using the toothpaste for a week, i still have hashed dried smell breath when i woke up in the morning, i think this is quite unavoidable. But the amazing part is by the end of the day, my breath still stay quite fresh, i mean at least it is not that stinky type! I still maintain the amount of water intake, not special adjustments are made to maintain this fresh..! Quite please with this product, will keep using till other needs found. 

This toothpaste can be found at most of the major supermarkets, pharmacies and cosmetic stores.

Biore Oil Cleanser

It always occur to me if it is really possible to remove makeup as from the advertisement shown on TV. Sorry Bifesta to steal your ad screen and yet talk about Biore. Initially i thought the product i saw from TV was the one that i am using until i looking carefully and did my researches. Apologize for my overlook.

I am using Biore Cleansing Oil for quite awhile already, i kind of like it as it practically clean off everything including waterproof mascra, BB cream and such. I am a lazy person, i need something with just 1 shot. This cleanser doesn't leave any oily feel after rinsed off with water, but usually i will cleanse my face with foam wash in additional to ensure no impurities are left especially on my T-zone. I have combination skin... so extra steps have to be taken i guess.

Pump a little cleansing oil (about the size of a 50 cent coin) onto a dry cotton pad

Place it directly over the eye for about 5~10 sec, u might want to wait a little while more if you are using all those stubborn waterproof makeup 

Gently remove the cotton pad and.....

Tadaaaa..... (just like the ad!) True personal experience!  

Hopefully didn't scare anyone off with this bare face with shiny T-zone.

Lastly, i must declare this isn't any sponsored post, this product is what i have been using for awhile and out of curiosity, i want to know if makeup could be just transferred over to the cotton pad.

Was chasing after this Korean drama《拜託小姐》My Fair Lady,  by 尹恩惠. In this show, she is a super rich third generation of a corporate empire! She can be elegant, cute, or stylish all thru the show... Love how she could bring out these styles!

CNY 2014 - 初七人日

This day is another steamboat day at John & Felicia nest... Piggy can almost puke by just hearing these 2 words... haha... But most importantly, it's the gathering that we enjoy, not so much on the food...

As usual like a norm phenomenon now we must have our short gambling session before event ends. At John's place, Boon was the super lucky "zhuang"..! All of us lost our money to him... Cos he claimed he had the power of love that keep supplying him the luck! WTF!

Thou end the night with empty pockets, still it's a successful event!
