My desire to loose weight lost to my sweet tooth craving... Me had a Tiramisu wor...! Thus fulfilling night, just that Erik couldn't stay too late cos he is living in the Northern-East side of Sinagpore

After their depart, Piggy came pick me and met John at Kallang Leisure Park for some chit chat cum rounding. Moved on to Singapore railway station for food again...! Yah.. again..!

I sort of like the place there, very open concept just like the Makan Places in Malaysia. No restriction of parking lot, table setting was all over any corners that is available, no smoking area, etc... Sound very against the rule hor... maybe that's why i like that place~

Bike Asia - 10/Apr ~ 13/Apr

Sometime last week, we travelled all the way from Jurong to Changi Singapore Expo just to attend the "BIKE ASIA 2008" show.

Not too long ago, my colleague asked if we are still able to find 肉丁 anywhere in Singapore supermarket?

Abruptly i answered, "Got ba... i still saw some in my bf's mum kitchen cupboard..!"

But sadly, after i did a random search from NTUC, Giant or Prime, none have them. Thereafter, i went for a more detail search online and found this....

I not really sure if the 肉丁belong to Maling branding but i am pretty sure the Luncheon Meat is..!

My favorite luncheon, i remembered i used to cap off the tin with a tiny key-like looking thingy, following the trail around the tin and it would come off nicely.

Reports say that a banned cancer-causing antibiotic, Nitrifurans, was found in a batch of Maling luncheon meat. If you do notice, not only Maling luncheon meat can't be found, other brands of luncheon meat here seems to diminish from the shelves too. I think this causes a sounder to Singapore AVA, they seems to have imply stringent checks for other brandings too. Mulitple brands of sausages are seen in supermarkets here already instead of replacement brands of luncheon meat.

The ban inclues all canned-food products that range from pickled cabbage and preserved vegetables to canned fruit, beans, peas, bamboo shoots and mushrooms.

OMG... my favourite Mushrooms too...!

Sorry that i am a little bit slow on the news, this banned was imposed some time in Dec 2007.

清明

春分后十五天为清明， 清明是扫坟祭祖的日子。简单来说，2008 年的清明节是从 4月4日 至 4月19日，每年都会不一样。

在莫个星期六的早上，我们一起出发到婆婆家集合，唯有提公公扫坟。他公公的骨灰就寄放在光明山。一大清早，光明山就挤满了人，那里的负责人为了维持自序， 都把祭拜的地方规划好了。可是这样一来，一点民俗的感觉都没了，好像太死板板，太商业化了！

而且你一旦祭拜完就有清洁工人在一旁等候，准备帮你清理桌面好然另一批公众可用。





当你把一贯的祭品（水果、干粮或烧肉）给排好，点上香烛就可以祭拜了。不是在灵牌前拜，不知在拜些什么，也不知公公收得到吗？


拜完后就把冥钱拿到前面的火炉由工作人员替你烧。


过后才到公公的灵前拜拜，这样就结束了正个简化的扫墓仪式。

After our trip from Guangzhou, we took another 1.5 day R&R. Keke... long time never pak tor liao... so no matter how tired my piggy was, he still whole-hearted-ly came out of his comfort room just to go out with me ~ Love my dear dear, so sweet of you! *muack*

Craving for Jap food, we went straight to IMM for some - to quest our thirst~

That's not all, cos it was a Saturday and we didn't want to waste it just like that, we met the rest of his biker friends. Not knowing that they actually had a small gathering to bid Yisian farewell, we only went with regards.

Sunday - WE Go IKEA...!!!!

Lazy Sunday not wasted~ rare chance that we not working on Sunday q(^.^)p

During late afternoon, we visited Giant. Wanting to make stay healthier, we got ourselves some watermelon to squash into juice, some simple groceries and head to Ikea..! Desires to visit Ikea so much was finally fulfilled...!
