When Xmas is closing, it would be most people's enjoyable festive season!

Me too...! It's time to shop! Joy is in the air... When the people around me feel happy, the mood will spread! Love the giving and sharing spirit! Pardon me.. utter nonsense already...

My purchase for the day... always like to end my day with a cup of coffee and something sweet.

Pre Xmas outing w/ the Uncle - 6 Dec 2013

This meet up starts from a very simple count down reminder to our uncle Philip... last time when we were still colleagues, uncle will start to have his Xmas deco and Xmas song played about 1 mth before it is here! Thus we would have a practice to remind him how many days to Xmas day...!

So there was this day i text him and reminded him... and in return... i have a free dinner! Haha..

 This smoked duck pizza is really yummy....! Usually duck meat are a little less tender, but this is good! Super tender and so juicy! Loving it!

The dinner was extended to Coffee Bean for deserts... but too much talks and laughter till we forgot all about photos..! Haha...

Had a great time with Uncle and also Joyce! Simple yet relaxing...!

黄家最小的女儿也就是我的小姨子出嫁哦！

在9月7日2013，他们登记注册成为合法夫妻。真为他们开心！可是在华人习俗眼里，这还不算是正式结婚。华人传统里一定有选吉日、下聘礼、拜天地、敬父母、摆喜酒才算是真正的结婚。

不管这么样，她还是签字了！

Something for dinner

Mr Piggy and me when over at supplier's place to pick up some items and we settled our dinner there....

The uniqueness of this restaurant is that it is setback to the old 1970s Hong Kong style. Oldies are display everywhere, from the symmetric black white tiles on the floor, to the wooden chairs and granite top table and the old school photos hang on the wall. It gives me a very relax feel....

I do notice blogs with lot of pretty, vain, photoshop ladies in it will definitely hit high counts....! So let me vain for this time too...

PS: All are heavily beautified.. haha...

I can only dig out that much, i am not that vain after all.... haha... Hope these won't cause harm to anybody digestive system!

Batam Trip - 13 Apr 13

Post dated post..... This is a long overdue hen's night for our dearest Kat...! Now it became a post Mrs night...

5.30am - me up and prepare

We woke up super early that day to catch a ferry from Harbor Front to Batam Centre.

6.30am - meet at harbor front

I was seldom the earliest when we come to meet up or gathering, surprisingly that day i am! :)

7.00am - collect ticket and wait for ferry

We had a quick bite for our breakie while waiting.. cos no food served till lunch.

Forcing myself to look fresh

Was trying to catch some sleep, but didn't manage, so i went snapping around. 

A very sweet looking ferris wheel along the way...

I google a liitle and notice the ferris wheel i saw is actually on Batam island itself and is very near to Batam centre. In fact it is called Mega Tour Costarina, it is a park.

9.00am - reached Batam centre

On tour bus, ready to go shopping...!

First stop, we went to the chocolate outlet which they claim is the wholesale and where the main distribution of Batam is.

 Next was the temple... a super huge and spacious one!

Yong Heng is also one of the itinerary, they are practically a super mart with the local delights like their famous koropok and such.

Before lunch, we head to their layer cake "factory", which doesn't appeal to me it is. But true enough, their kua lapims are yummilious and came with many different favours!

Followed by tour to varies so call wholesale and such... i didn't take photo of all location, some are grab from other's blog or site.

12.30pm - We had lunch at a open air restaurant which i didn't pay much attention to the name. The dishes standard are so-so only, nothing fantastic.  

1.45pm - We continued with the guided tour to other attractions, but it is really too hot for us to enjoy. 

6.00pm - After all the tour, shopping and massage... finally back to hotel...!

Our room - Still have the newly renovated smell... Oh ya... i didn't mention, this hotel only starts operation this year and half of it will be under residential, and is yet to complete... That's why everything is new, phone line instruction, use of the safe instruction not printed yet...!

After resting a little, out to grab dinner and shopping time...! We actually walk to the Nagoya Hill Shopping Centre, merely a 15mins walk, cause it's still bright and early, so we try exploring... But we miss out the road side eatery...! :(

The Magnum ice-cream is so freaking cheap about $2.50 after conversion! So cooling and fulfilling after a filled meal!

Day 2 - It started rain early in the morning, ruin some of our plans to window shop and explore the area, we slag in our room under the warmth of the bed for another 2 hrs instead.But, we still had breakfast.

Food range are good, many to choose from.

There is a nice small pool just outside the dinning area with a cozy chill corner, good for some tipsy drinks!  

After which, we went back to the mall and did the last min shopping and had lunch and home sweet home. 

Hey... my hair became nice... haha...

Can't resist another stick of Magnum before going back!
